The Ligurian Riviera is a captivating place, guardian of a charm that belongs to the sea and the historic villas overlooking it. The Grand Hotel Miramare in Santa Margherita Ligure, with its historical structure, fits perfectly into this context. Its century-old building effortlessy evoques Italian luxury, embodying a Riviera chic elegance, built on rigor and lightness.
For the uniforms of this timeless hotel, we chose an iconic palette: navy blue and cream white, colors that immediately convey a nautical aesthetic reinterpreted in a sophisticated way. These shades recall sailboats, clear skies, and the elegant façades lining the Gulf of Tigullio. Their combination is able to give the garments a distinctive sign of timless style.
The uniforms at Grand Hotel Miramare combine formality and comfort. The collection features structured jackets and tailored vests, thoughtfully paired with lighter and practical pieces, designed for ease of movement within the hotel spaces. The lines are clean and enriched with tailored details that transform the uniform into an elegant and wearable total look, perfectly in tune with the hystorical and yet contemporary spirit of Miramare.
Every place in the hotel is united by a common thread: the uniforms of its staff. With this project, Maurel worked to translate the timeless style of this Riviera icon into garments reimagined with a more modern twist, gifting a tangible memory to its guests and staff and accompanying them in a unified image of hospitality. The memory we retain of it is that of a Liguria made of charme and refinement, a sober and immediately recognizable elegance.
