The Hotel Gardena Grödnerhof in Ortisei is capable of blending nature and hospitality into a unique experience. It is the perferct expression of the authentic beauty of the Dolomites, guardian of a charm to which impossible to remain indifferent: mountains that change color with the light, forests that ignite with the seasons, atmospheres of intimacy and warmth that embrace those who experience them. We wanted to capture and tranform these elements, developing them into fabrics, shapes, and characteristic details designed to create a harmonious connection with the hotel’s interiors.
The living material of the mountain was the basis for the study of a neutral and cozy color palette. The tones of natural linen and warm brown evoke wood and stone, immediately recalling the atmosphere of Alpine interiors. These are colors that speak of roots and authenticity and become the visual expression of refined yet approachable hospitality. Their combination creates a harmonious and enveloping whole, perfectly integrated with the surrounding environment.
The uniforms at Gardena were created with a clear goal: to combine functionality and style. The lines are simple, practical, and comfortable, yet maintain a sophisticated allure that enhances the staff’s image, suited to the high-level hospitality of the Hotel. Wide skirts, essential shirts, and natural fabrics build a wardrobe that respects the spirit of the mountain without sacrificing modernity.
As you can see, every detail of this waitress’s uniform has been carefully considered, from the cut to the choice of buttons, to ensure an elegant result consistent with the character of the property.
From this project we preserve the memory of Alpine elegance made of warmth and authenticity. Maurel transformed the Gardena Grödnerhof uniforms into a tangible sign that unites the landscape, the hotel, and the art of hospitality in a single image to be cherished.
