On Lake Como, every historic residence exudes an aura of timeless elegance. Villa Passalacqua, located in the small town of Moltrasio, preserve history and transform it into a contemporary experience, leaving us with the feeling of interpreting a poem. Among terraced gardens, stone staircases and lake views that resemble paintings, this emblematic villa conveys a sense of calm and refinement that remains etched like a precious memory.
We chose to translate these suggestions into a palette reflecting the intense nuances of the lake’s dephts and the delicacy of its atmospheres. Deep blue becomes the signature color, evoking the reflections of water at sunset and conveying serenity and prestige. Alongside this, soft and flowing fabrics bring lightness, creating a natural dialogue with the villa’s interiors and recalling the refined style of hystoric homes.
The uniforms were designed to express this dual soul: classic elegance and modern comfort. Wide, lightweight lines allow freedom of movement and transform each garment into a sign of refined hospitality. Soft volumes and the choice of materials are inspired by couture, but allow the uniforms to be wearable and functional. The chromatic coherence becomes the element that unites every departement and enhances their characteristics: the reception with a more institutional bearing, the dining room and the garden services with a more fluid allure.
For Maurel, the Project for Villa Passalacqua became poetry of movement, thanks to an elegance that needs no rigidity to be recognized. Maurel captured the soul of Lake Como creating unforms that tell a fragment of history made current and accompanying guests in one of the most iconic residences in the Italian landscape.
