Rome is a city that is not just visited: it is lived and remembered. Every time we enter the splendid reception of the St. Regis hotel in Rome, we are met with the impression of being in a place suspended between history and modernity, where imperial elegance blends with the cosmopolitan spirit of the capital. The frescoed vaults, the polished marbles, the discreet rhythm of hospitality gestures: everything becomes part of a indelible sign that remains engraved in the soul like a fragment of eternity.
For us, this project is born from the desire to preserve the soul of the eternal city and transform it into a visual language made of fabrics, details and colors. To build the palette, we selected deep blue for the doormen uniforms as the main tone, a color that evokes Roman solemnity and the prestige of the hotel’s interiors. To this base color, we wanted to add golden accents, symbolizing royalty and light, capable of giving authority and sophistication to every uniform.
The structured lines, inspired by the rigor of Italian haute couture, give the staff an authoritative bearing without sacrificing comfort. Golden buttons and subtle striped details complete the ensemble, creating a balance that makes each uniform not only functional but also representative of the iconic identity of the St. Regis brand.
The memory that the project for the St. Regis Roma has left us is one of sophisticated classicism, which speaks to the present while maintaining deep roots in tradition.
