What most captivates us when visiting Ostuni, the “white city”, is the presence of the sun, reflecting its rays on the warm facades, illuminating the alleys leading to the sea and fading behind the horizon with golden sunsets. Hotel Vista Ostuni, with its structure perfectly aligned with its surrounding landscape, is part of this luminous and refined Mediterranean. Here, hospitality becomes a visual and emotional experience.
This atmosphere has been transformed into a palette that reflects the landscape: powder blue evokes the clear sky and the sea embracing the coast, warm beige recalls the sand and lands of Puglia, while luminous white captures the essence of the architecture that has made Ostuni famous. To complete the visual identity, we inserted a graphic motif inspired by the “V” of Vista, transformed into a decorative Greek fret: a distinctive sign that appears on the fabrics as a signature of recognition, essential in receptionist uniforms, for example.
The uniforms were designed to combine tailored elegance and contemporary comfort. The double-breasted jacket and loose-fitting vest, while echoing the classic style, are revisited with flowing volumes and lightweight fabrics, perfect for effortless movement in a warm Mediterranean setting. Soft shirts, wide-leg pants and graphic details contribute to a cohesive and sophisticated look that reflects the spirit of the resort while meeting the practical needs of the staff.
The feeling this project gave us was that of light becoming fabric, of a landscape transformed into a decorative motif, of a relaxed elegance that expresses Puglia with sobriety and refinement. By creating the uniforms for the Hotel Vista Ostuni, Maurel has embraced the soul of Ostuni and shaped it into distinctive uniforms that will be as memorable as the unique luminosity of the white city.
